I have been a studio musician for over 40 years to date...I have in fact played drums/percussions for just about every major record company, television and movie companies throughout the world..there is hardly any artist I have not recorded with and working with all of those artist's, and having great success I might add, I have of course worked with their producers...(that's alot for one sentence). |
One of my favorite artist's through my recording years was the late, great John Denver. I spent just about ten years working for and with John and his Windstar Organiztion. We traveled the globe a number of times doing concerts, t.v. shows and movies. I can't begin to tell what a wonderful person John was and what a wonderful experience working with everyone around John. One name rings through always...one Kris O'Connor..K.O. as we all fondly address Kris. Kris was a producer that never really got the credits that producers usually get... K.O. is a hard working and very talented producer..He is a family man and loyalty is a major part of his being. Often times we find that "No good deed goes unpunished". I would certainly recommend K.O. to anyone needing or looking for a music producer. He is a brillian man and as we all knew, in the Denver Organization, K.O. was certainly a major part of John's works...K.O., my hat is off to you. Keep the hit records right up there on the charts. |

As a producer he has an easiness about him in the studio that makes not only the artist but all of the players and engineers feel relaxed, which creates a great environment for allowing the great music to happen.
